EDM/PDM Project Start-up Review

Before embarking on an EDM or PDM implementation, it's useful to get the proposed project reviewed by an external, neutral specialist.

Our 'EDM/PDM Project Start-up Review' service provides a neutral review of a proposed project and assistance with presentation to management.

This service is available in English, French, German, Italian and Japanese.

The main steps of the review activity for a particular company are as follows:
  • Step 1. We visit the company site, interview relevant people, and review relevant documents and systems.
  • Step 2. We work on our analysis and prepare our report and presentation. Sometimes we do this on-site, sometimes off-site.
  • Step 3. We present our conclusions on the company site.
The amount of time required for the review depends on factors such as the size of the company, the number of sites we need to visit, and the number of potential EDM/PDM users.

For a company with less than 1,000 people and one main site, we would expect the following durations:
  • Step 1 : 2-3 days
  • Step 2 : 2-3 days
  • Step 3 : 1 day
After adding our travel expenses, the total cost in this case is usually less than $10,000.
