Back-up procedure Scope This procedure covers the daily backing up of all CAD/CAM/CAE data. Content This procedure should detail how backups are taken and restored. It is recommended that for all but the most sophisticated systems, which control the whole process automatically, a program be written to ensure that the correct data is backed up and that the information is available on disk. Checklist Back up all data changed in the last 24 hours, and update the disk reference. Verify the data as it is dumped. Ensure that data is thoroughly checked after being installed from a back-up copy.
